Captain Nitzan Levy
After coming back from her first-ever sailing trip in the Greek Islands, Nitzan was determined to make sailing an integral part of her life. It was the combination of good company, living with nature, and the exhilarating feeling of freedom that made her start her journey.
After crewing regularly (both recreationally and competitively) on her friend's boat Bettina in Israel, and crewing on a few sailing trips in the Mediterranean, Nitzan decided to become a skipper in her own right. Nitzan organized sailing vacations with and for her friends and clients in countless destinations all over the world, to name a few: The Caribbean, Cuba, Greece, Croatia, Thailand, and Seychelles.
Nitzan hails from Jersey City, NJ by the New York Harbor, where she enjoys sailing under one of the world's most breathtaking views.
Ed Guy
Ed has been sailing since his youth and started boat ownership on Austin’s Lake Travis shortly after university. He discovered sailing was literally in his blood, in fact, he descended from pirates (just ask him, if you have an hour or two to spare.)
Over the last few decades, he has been cruising with his family around the northeast starting from Raritan Bay on three generations of progressively longer sailboats as well as a smattering of charters in warmer climates. After becoming an empty nester, he emerged from the suburbs and became a stay-aboard in Jersey City.
He is a perpetual race committee member, but not so secretly, really there for the after-race party. Professionally trained as an engineer focusing on software and communications. He is also an assistant scoutmaster and scouting council volunteer.
