Frequently Asked Questions

01

Are group tours eco-friendly in the Galapagos?

Yes! Most cruise ships operating in the Galapagos are designed with eco-friendly practices and are regulated by the Galapagos National Park to ensure minimal environmental impact. These ships follow strict guidelines to protect the unique ecosystems, use energy-efficient systems, treat wastewater, and limit waste production. Many also participate in conservation initiatives, making them an environmentally responsible way to explore the islands.

03

Is a group cruise suitable for families or solo travelers?

Absolutely! Our group cruises are family-friendly and offer accommodations and activities suitable for all ages, making them an exciting choice for families. For solo travelers, group cruises offer a social environment to meet others with shared interests, and many cruises have flexible cabin arrangements to accommodate singles.

02

What wildlife can I expect to see on a Galapagos cruise?

The Galapagos Islands are home to an incredible variety of wildlife. During a cruise, you can expect to see iconic species like giant tortoises, marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, Galapagos penguins, sea lions, and diverse seabird colonies. Depending on your itinerary, you might also encounter hammerhead sharks, rays, and unique plant life found nowhere else on Earth.

04

How long is a typical Galapagos group cruise itinerary?

Typical Galapagos group cruise itineraries range from 4 to 8 days. This particular cruise we are organizing is 5 day and 4 nigh long. Shorter cruises provide a good overview of the islands, while longer itineraries allow for a more immersive experience and access to more remote islands.

05

What is the best time of year to take a cruise in the Galapagos?

The Galapagos Islands are a year-round destination, but the best time depends on your interests. The warm, wet season from December to May offers warmer seas, ideal for snorkeling, and is also the breeding season for many species. The cooler, dry season from June to November brings nutrient-rich currents, attracting diverse marine life. Both seasons offer unique wildlife sightings and comfortable conditions for cruising.
